Go from installation to a trustworthy signal workflow.

LookingGlass works best when the pixel, qualification rules, alert path, and CRM handoff are introduced in that order. This guide keeps the first launch focused and easy to verify.

Launch Checklist

Install the pixelCopy the snippet from Installation and place it once in your global site header or tag manager. It should load on every page you want to monitor.
Verify the first eventVisit your site in a normal browser window, open a meaningful page, then use Verify Install. LookingGlass will confirm the latest event it received.
Tune qualificationUse Signal Rules to review discovered pages, define the intent they represent, and keep qualification separate from page behavior. Start conservatively, then tune with real traffic.
Choose the alert pathDecide who should receive qualified signals. CSV exports and the LookingGlass pipeline remain available before any CRM connection is enabled.

Salesforce Connection

Connect Salesforce only when your team is ready for CRM ownership and status mapping. LookingGlass uses OAuth and never asks you to share an admin password.

Authorize a production org or sandbox from CRM Setup.

Review Lead Status values before enabling writeback.

Keep CSV exports and the local pipeline available during setup.

Open Installation in your workspace for the exact snippet and a step-by-step guide for your website platform.

WixCustom Code -> All pages -> Each page opened -> Head -> Apply
WordPressSite-wide header code -> Save and activate -> Clear caches
ShopifyOnline Store -> Themes -> Edit code -> Global theme layout
WebflowSite settings -> Custom code -> Head code -> Publish
Google Tag ManagerCustom HTML -> All Pages -> Preview -> Publish
Developer / otherGlobal layout -> Before </head> -> Production deploy

Publish to the live domain, then visit at least two pages before verifying.

Follow your site's privacy and consent policy when classifying the tag.
